Our story
A garden of paradise, built by family
Ghan Eden is a place shaped slowly—by the land, by family, and by a belief that comfort and nature belong together.
From jungle to welcome
Ghan Eden means “Garden of Paradise.” What began as thick jungle has grown into comfortable places to stay, a seasonal farm, and access to the river, waterfalls, and wider beauty of central Belize.
The aim is simple: welcome guests well, care for the land, and make space to reconnect at a more natural pace.

The land leads
Alive in every season
River and waterfall access bring cool relief. Farm, forest, and river habitat support abundant wildlife. The five-acre farm changes through the year, producing papaya, soursop, plantain, coconut, citrus, turmeric, moringa, starfruit, mangoes, breadfruit, and more when conditions are right.
Care in practice
Hospitality with standards
Ghan Eden is a Gold Standard Certified facility—a designation earned through sustained work with Belizean authorities. The property is smoke-free, and the kitchen is vegan-friendly and able to use farm produce when crops are in season.
That same care extends into the surrounding community through support for local school improvements, STEM learning, and agricultural education.
